I'm 23 years old. I graduated with honors from Indiana State University in May 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. While trying to figure
out what to do next, I decided to look into learning to code, which I quickly discovered I enjoyed.
Currently, I'm a student at ElevenFifty Academy in Fishers, IN, where I'm learning to use Python, Django, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, and Flask. I'm also proficient
with using microsoft office, github, and the Windows terminal.
In addition to coding, I enjoy playing video games, reading, writing stories, and drawing.
I'm now looking for a career in which I can be challenged, continue to learn, and put my creativity to good use.
A simple creature created using HTML and CSS styling. My first coding project.
A simple interface in which a user can fill-in, save, and read madlibs. My first solo project in Python.
A series of six challenges completed as part of elevenfifty's curriculum.
Each has a simple user interface that allows the user to complete tasks such as creating
objects, viewing lists of objects, updating lists, and deleting objects from lists.
My first website: a site where users can create, share, and view others' recipes. Utilizes Django and is mobile responsive. It taught me a lot about using Django and designing and creating websites.
A website/API built utilizing Angular and Flask and deployed using Heroku. Calls on PokéAPI for data on over 800 pokémon. Mobile responsive.
Users can create teams of pokémon (users cannot at present view or edit teams, but it's still a work in progress, and I have hope that soon users will be able to, among other features that were cut in interest of time).
